Literally no good reason to offer him a new deal before the end of the season. It's not like he can have his pick of clubs to manage if he decides to leave; every other job will be a downgrade for him.
Matt Hughes, the journalist who wrote the piece, has been pretty good with Arsenal contract news in the past. But like Yousif said, it's the Daily Mail.
According to transfermarkt, among other sources, his contract ends in '23, but yea, your point still stands.it's 2022 and you guys still take Mail seriously.
for me any new contract shouldn't happen until we see how we going to end the season his contract ends in 2024 no need to rush of making stupid decision like Manutd did with Oleh. yes the rebuilding going swiftly and in right direction but not to the point we offer him new contract.
Literally what for?

not remember correctly but i guess it has option to extend 1 year. like i said it's likely mail made up story. we never offer managers new contract during the season even with Wenger it was always when season ends.According to transfermarkt, among other sources, his contract ends in '23, but yea, your point still stands.
Wait till the end of the season at the earliest, no reason to rush given there's still a lot of question marks over his ability.
You’ve forced here.
Only at Arsenal would you get rewarded with a contract extension without achieving your objectives, same thing with the players too.
I would love to secure a job at Arsenal. It must be a great environment to work in with the job security.

and that we going to do. giving him contract will mess things up he'll likely get more comfortable and more stubborn with his strict man management. let him earn it first. You wait and see whether we get top 4 before extending Arteta, not now. Keep your options open, especially given the group of players we have is a very attractive base for any potential successor.
