It was a **** up by Wenger and our scouts, plain and simple. Kante's first contract at Chelsea was 120k/week, we had a bum squaddie like Welbeck on 100k/week.

Once Chelsea were interested in Kante no chance we could have got him, we couldn't even get Vardy with no competition!

Doucoure is bog standard. He’s useful but Watford or atmost a mid-table PL club is about his level.
