Is this the quickest an Arsenal manager has won a trophy ever? 7 months
He has done a brilliant job and I really hope we give him the backing he needs. If he can get that and bring in the players he sees fit for his style and vision then I am confident this man will lead us back to glory!
Even that stat nerd @Trilly is close to backing him fully now, per my source
Mikel Arteta in 2020.
Trophies: FA Cup
Key victories over: Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Covid-19
Personal accolade: TIME magazine Man of the Year
And Wily Bolly and his Wolves side.
Take off that question mark in the thread. Arteta is a winner, full stop.
First Arsenal Captain to manage an Arsenal team to the FA Cup!
The community shield is in 4 weeks, hopefully next trophy incoming.
You would hope this is the start of a winning process with him.
One of the best scenes ever made, tears were shed. Sean Bean is truly fantastic, does not get the recognition he deserves
My manager. And so sweet that his first trophy comes at the expense of fat frank Lampard and oLivier 'Lamppost' giroud.
Uncle Mikel. We believe.
probably because his best scenes got cut out on the theatrical version.
his scene reminiscing about Gondor with Aragon is just amazing acting. He also had the best extended scene in the two towers
Totally agree. Always felt that Sean Bean was a different class. I mean, i do like Viggo and i think he does an amazing Aragorn. But so could Sean Bean have done, where as i dont think that Viggo could have pulled of such a great portrait of Boromir.
**** it, love them both to death. Excellent actors for the trilogy
Long may Arteta's successes continue
I'm really liking him as a manager and really appreciate him as a person. It makes the team very enjoyable to support, glad we avoided someone like Moutinho.
There are some lovely Saudis looking for a club to own.
The lack of fans and the water breaks have undoubtedly helped him too. A journalist said he could hear Arteta shouting in multiple languages, and at many points going “Ainsley Ainsley Ainsley”.
Arteta targeted that space between Chelsea’s left side of defence early on and it paid dividends.
Edit: I mean Chelsea’s right side of defence. Our left side of attack, where we have Auba.
Who'd have thought a "panic buy" on the 11th hour in 2011 would have had such an impact on the club?
I was one of his biggest critics when he was first linked, and literally jumped for joy when Emery was chosen.
Boy how wrong I was, this man deserves respect and support from the club.
