Progress!

Exactly, we are definitely still in the title race tbh. Arsenal fans are just:

1. Children
2. Impatient
3. The worstest or the worstest fans in the universe

Doesn't matter that our resident United fan who has no stake in how well we do actually concurs that our manager isn't doing great, it's just us Arsenal fans being sh!te.

Edit: And if you don't back Arteta you have terrible football no-ledge, never forget that.

I’m confident of our chances to make the top 6. Are fans being over critical of a draw against Palace because they’re expecting a title challenge or something?

We’re not there yet. We only just passed year 1 of the 5 year plan.

No one called the players ****e when they won 4 in a row. The players shift from ****e to world-class and ****e again while the manager is consistently great. Nice.

Not having that. The players have performances in them. Players like Bellerin will have good games two games in a row then be shocking for another 7.

That guy just wants to troll us while glorifying Ole. Seriously do people think Ole is some genius? They have had some massive luck and their style is pretty much what Jose is currently doing with Sp**s.

Ok in all seriousness can someone tell me what our style of play is under this manager ?.
use the fullbacks to put in crosses for the forwards. Its similar to the old school 4-4-2 with 2 wide men putting in cross for the two strikers, except we have one strikers and its the fullbacks putting the crosses for the ne striker. Simply put its sh1t tactics by a sh1t manager

Employing arteta as an Arsenal manager is like giving the CEO post of Google to an intern. At the end of the day this intern should have good grades at the school and some references to get the internship. Arteta didn’t even have grades/ track record, he had just good references from friends.

We gave the most difficult job of our history to a rookie and waiting success. Not surprised that so many fans are satisfied with this mediocracy. Because everybody knows under this circumstances every result should be taken as a success other than relegation.

Cannot wait for this guy to come and sort out our attack. If he can make a 35 year old OAP win the golden boot and score goals for fun, imagine if he is the manager of the perennial Golden Boot winner. Auba, Laca, Martinelli, Pepe, Xaka, Tierney, goals from every direction....

In 7 years time, we'll still be like this as long as Arteta keep requesting willian-like signings and Cedric-like signings.

I'm not buying that's the tactics he plans to use forever.

We are linked with an attacking midfielder.

Simply because we don't have one.

Few transfer windows and we will see what way he wants us to play.

If you had a brain you'd see our style of play. Full backs bomb forward, the deeper midfielder sits either between the CB's or to the left (covering Tierney bombing forward). The striker acts like a Firmino, drops deep and links play. Works hard etc. Hence why Lacazette works up front in this system and Auba doesn't. The two wide forwards come inside. Then you have the second and third CM's, ideally Partey as one kinda box to box guy and the other a creative mid.

Now we know the style Arteta is employing look at the players we currently have. If we had Tierneys twin who was a right footed right back, would things be a lot different? Of course they would. Bellerin turns back and passes back because he doesnt have the ability to do much else.

If we had Partey fit since he arrived would things be different? Of course. How about Lacazette? Well he does a fair job, but he's still inconsistent, akin to Bellerin. Tell me if you put Firmino or someone of that ilk in that position, would things be different? Yes.

Now you move to the creative mid and the deeper mid. In this case our deeper mid is either Ceballos or Xhaka. Both of which have their faults, both are once again awfully inconsistent. Xhaka in particular is far too slow and gives the ball away too often, Ceballos is faster but tends to be more rash. Neither player has any sort of stand out physical attributes.

Smith Rowe has recently been the creative player, hes fantastic. But he can't do it on his own. We need more.
