Wonder who our next manager gonna be.

Hope it's Thierry Henry.

Imagine him with some of the players we currently have...he would literally be beating the **** out of some of them, they would deserve it too!

Don’t forget the six solid years under the legendary Moyeseh.

That seems to have been what resonated with him the most.

Yeah and his assistants worked under Moyes, Allardyce and van Gaal. Two defensive minded British coaches and van Gaal likes his sides to have structure and positional discipline.

It's funny.

Out of our 6 games the only one you expect to pick something up from which we didn't was Leicester.

Yet the pressure for him to keep his job now is huge.

Arteta just needs to keep the tk-tk nonsense for training only . He's more than a taskmaster.
Now for the Europa league , I have big expectations.

Our fanbase is a combination of little *****es and a complete lack of understanding about football.

I thought after how bad the last few years under Arsène got, could teach everyone some patience and how to treat a manager...sadly we haven't learned a damn thing...shame.

Look at Xhaka, pass back merchant

Our play is too pedestrian. We move the ball around far too slowly and our forward players don’t move enough. Need to zip it around quicker and play higher tempo. That’s the best chance you have of breaking down low blocks.

People mentioning Pep always playing good football...maybe look at the teams/midfields he has had compared to this one Mikel has, pretty sure Barcelona/Bayern/City just edge out the likes of Granit Xhaka for ability

No manager is coming in and making this current squad play good football...the flaws in our defence and midfield, can only be covered up by playing a defensive counter attacking style...plus our only well rounded attacker is a kid, the rest are pretty **** footballers, who are only really good at attacking space...adding to the fact we should be playing counter attack.

Arteta won the FA Cup about 6 ****ing months ago, now fans have had enough of him...disgracefully really.

Auba not being used as a striker is a legitimate gripe you can have...though Laca up top and Pierre inside left did him him his first trophy as a manager, so he is probably a bit loyal to that system atm...lets see if he changes it soon.

This squad is nowhere near the teams Arsène used to have technically at the Emirates, that's just a fact...we just can't play that way a the minute, we can sack Arteta, but that won't change anything until we get better players.

No. We rushed everything:
I don’t get why we are rushing crosses into the box.

We should pass it around the opponent box, and work our way in patiently. Just use a bit of movement/dribbling skills and pass the ball around slowly until we find a gap in the opponent defence.

00:40-00:48
Why is tierney crossing the ball?
Should have just make a short cut back to auba.

00:52-1:00
Auba should have use a bit of skills to dribble past his marker, and then making a low cross or short pass.

————————————————————————
Here is a great example. We should pass and pass around until we find a gap.

Our players would have crossed the ball at 00:20. But they shouldn’t.

No. We rushed everything:

Dumb statement in fairness. We didn't rush everything, in fact quite the contrary. We were so pedestrian with passing between Xhaka, Mustafi and Gabriel specifically that it became hideous to watch.

The main reason for that isn't the players themselves its actually the movement in front of them and having nobody being able to naturally play between lines except Saka.

We are not Barcelona in talent or structure and any comparison between the two are misguided.

Mikel has a major job to do in terms of finding the right balance. Unfortunately I have very little confidence in him figuring it out mainly because I get the sense that he’s not sure what kind of manager he even wants to be. He knows that defeats will render his tenure short so he prioritize solidity and off the ball work rate. The result is that we have conceded less goals since he came in. The problem for him is that he has vacated our attack and with it the fluidity which we open teams up. It has become more rigid and predictable. This is the challenge before him.

The real question is considering that he was a midfielder himself why can he not shape a proper midfield and why doesn’t he trust the talent that is here (except Xhaka, no one should trust Xhaka).

Your last point is probably because he doesn't have the right midfielders yet. Even ESR isn't a natural number 10. He's more of a Ramsey type midfielder.

Our attack is a far bigger issue than our midfield. There’s a lack of movement in our forwards and our football is breaking down whenever it reaches them. We don’t have this great attack that many seem to think we have.
