Frustration with exiting the least important competition we were in is much more down to the context of

a) Kai missing sitters during the home leg

b) us not really showing up for the return leg

c) us not doing anything on the transfer market

And d) losing yet another attacker and praying Havertz doesn't get injured, too.

I'm not mad at going out the Mickey mouse cup, Watkins would not have played anyway. I'm mad that it's clear we needed more to maybe clench the league and we yet again we took the most obvious, albeit cheaper, risk.
We always end up lacking 2 or 3 needed players each summer. It's hugely frustrating.

He needs to switch to a different formation for the next few weeks with martinelli out. Can't play 433 with 2 players, 1 kid and 1 loanee who has done nothing whole season in attack

Still in good shape for both the PL and CL.

I guess this is true, as right now we are like...

...and just like in Rocky 5, Arsenal will end up with nothing and brain damaged 💪

Essays are my thing
That’s the issue.

We must stop allowing them to defend deep and get back in time to defend because we attack slow.

Once we force them to play football and attack high, they are dead. And that’s what happened last season
First goal wins. Ultimately we missed chances at home and they took every chance they had in both games. If it had been in September when they were struggling, we'd have won comfortably, but we got them in the best form they've had in nearly 2 decades, with their striker enjoying by far the best form of his career as we are knackered and depleted. If we didn't have so many bloody injuries I'd have played a reserve team yesterday, but we've already got a mix and match 11.

I won't get too mad going out of Mickey mouse cup but this wud have been an opportunity to shut the haters up with a trophy and build on that in the league n cl.But Arteta could find one striker in whole of Europe on loan. Its ****ing disgraceful how we are run as a club.Running Haverts to the ground here.Hope 10 days in Dubai rejuvenate the squad and we push liverpool all the way and go far in champions league.

Starting to think I missed a trick signing up here instead of Goonersworld.

At least there, I have plenty of like-minded peers. I mean they've had a Tets out thread since 2021 ffs

Longing for Goonersworld ffs, it is basically the equivalent of this...

He's been let down by down of his guys. But that's the thing, they're HIS guys. Havertz and Ødegaard essentially represent his ideas on the pitch.

The best thing to happen this season is that the rose-tinted glasses fell off from some notoriously positive communities such as r/gunners. Now we can finally see pleas to stop playing North London Forever, or criticising transfers, tactics, the board, etc.

Toxic positivity is dangerous long term because it creates a comfort zone and an atmosphere of apologists, which is ideal for guys like Kroenkes to stay idle and pick up the goodies.

There needs to be consistent pressure and criticism for the people in power for anything proactive to happen or we'll be sliding into obscurity once again in the next couple of years. With or without Arteta.

I'm not sure what your tolerance for Lee gunner acolytes is, there is plenty of hatred for Mikel to fill your boots with, funny place to scroll but very reactionary, even more then AM.
