The issue I have with Arteta which I mentioned last season pre Dubai is that I think he takes failure too harshly in some aspects and overreacts to try to correct it.

I think you’ve nailed it here. He’s a bit too extreme, which is understandable as it’s his first job in management and a lot of us tend to forget he’s learning on the job.

But he needs to have more faith in his philosophy. This squad are more than capable of playing 2022/23 type football. Our attackers need more volume of chances as they don’t have the magic to make something happen out of nothing on a regular basis.
