the only time merino allow to touch the ball when in final third area because if merino touch ball in midfield area he will lose ball too much and also he is so slow in build up

His youth managers likely didn't see his goal scoring ability he would have made good cf its difficult to play cf when all your career played as midfielder but credit to him guy learns quick
