Mikel Starteta Wars - Phase IV: A Newaneri Hope

Should Arteta’s position as manager be under threat if we don’t win the PL or CL?

He rotates using players he trusts/likes/rates, but those seem only to be Tomi, TP, Jorgi, Kiwi, Trossard, Zinny & can add Timber too when fit probably.

The rest are just making up numbers. Tbh I think only ESR deserves to feel aggrieved as he can impact games & is an effective player. The rest are sub standard tbh.

Don’t think ESR has a leg to stand on. He hasn’t contributed anything for 2 seasons now, and when he does get minutes he never really impresses.

Think Vieira is ahead of him in Arteta’s thinking.

He's not really been given any meaningful opportunities tho. He's had bad luck with injuries, but hes clearly out of favour & we don't know why. He still has ability.

We have to extend his contract by at least, MINIMUM 5 years. He's the light that will keep us away from the recent darkness we were in.

I worry about having to rotate further in the coming weeks. Our squad depth in attack just ain’t it.

Luckily we’ve got the best diamond in the league (Raya, Saliba, Gabriel, Rice) to fall back on, we won’t concede many. I just feel without Saka we have real problems.

Pool and City are worried too.

Could be worse. Could be playing 1 game a week.

Good problems to have.

Atleast Jesus is a slight step up from Nelson. And Gabby had a nice three week break so he'd be absolutely flying pretty soon.

Yeah no it’s amazing being in the thick of this, I just feel disappointment coming. I felt the exact same way at this stage last season, I don’t think we have enough.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe one of the best things about managing people is that we can influence lives in a positive way. That’s basically what a manager is about. When I can do that, I am very happy.
