Only person in football who I would ask for a photo with or ask to shake their hand, and I’m sure he’ll react like I’m the first fan to ever ask him that even though it happens 200 time’s a day I bet.

Need to try it with a proper people's person like my boy Giggsy.

I watched that clip again today of when he met his teacher and mentor. Always gets me.

Loool at motd. Absolute gold mine. Son looking like his nan died in the post match interview.

Danny Murphy going full “laugh through the tears“ banging on about how both teams deserve such, such credit.

Also clearly told the producers he wanted to do a segment piping off Kane and gloss over the next level bottle job.

Having motd on in the background sounds exactly like someone playing FIFA. Even the commentator, whoever he is, sounds scripted with his dogsh!t cliched crap.

Sorry, just slightly off topic, but feel that it is relevant. In the early 2000's, the 'Match of the Day' programme, went from the BBC to ITV. It was titled 'The Premiership'.
I thought that ITV did a good job with their version. I Loved the opening credits. Des Lynam was Brilliant.

End of an era…

I know that he played for Tottenham, I always liked Gary Lineker (the player). I first got into football, watching the World Cup of Italy 1990. He has a record (I believe) of never being booked.
Was gutted when he scored against us in the 1991 FA Cup Semi Final. Then during Euro 92, Gary Lineker was substituted by Arsenal's Alan Smith. That was Lineker s last game for England.

Did the premiership have adverts?

I remember watching it and not liking it, it could have just been the change from MotD but something just felt off for me.

I can't remember to be honest. Can remember ITV showing F1 Races. I think they went to adverts during the race. If that was the case, that would be annoying.

Yes, they had a cartoon guy with three legs and his pet mole as their mascot lol.

I liked The Premiership, ITV always had the best commentators anyway and they got Des Lynam too...plus I thought the song for it fit perfectly.

I am immensely proud to say that I am the manager who has won the most FA Cups, and MY Arsenal are the club to lift it the most.
