Moussa Dembele

League is very weak
yeah, from the few celtic games I watched last season I was impressed with him but I really don't think he's ready for the prem yet, even as backup.

Ligue 1 would be a good stepping stone for him.
No English club is touching him despite the money available. Clubs obviously don't think he's ready or good enough yet.

I read that Dean said Wenger turned down the other Dembele last summer. Wonder if he thought he was getting offered this one instead and by mistake he turned down the best young winger in football.

Yeah wtf is was that  ? Everyone on here was saying Wenger lost his touch with the French market when the boss actually rejecting him .

Maybe he was afraid of killing Lord Nelson .

What are you on about? Can't turn down what we already have at the club. Expected more from you there.

You can choose to believe this or not. I studied in Glasgow for four years and became quiet friendly with administrators and senior members of www.kerrydalestreet.co.uk via their weekly football and social meet ups. Some of them socialise with a former Celtic manager who retains close ties to the club, some are close family friends of the late Tommy Burns some are that old they have close relationships with the Lisbon Lions. I can assure you there was and remains on going interest from clubs in England.

Interest is one thing, making serious bids to sign him is another. In this climate where everyone is looking for strikers, clubs are yet to go in for Dembele.

It's not like an English club would have any difficulties signing from Celtic.

It's not like mega rich clubs couldn't afford Alexis but when they inquire and are told he isn't for sale then they don't bid.

Dembele wasn't for sale and that remains the case as long as Celtic can secure CL football. The exact same thing happened with Van Dijk, Wanyama and Forster. No CL football and the money that goes with it a major asset becomes available.

Historically quoting myself but spot on again. Celtic didnt qualify for the CL and Dembele was sold

Why are we buying another striker? Rather give Nketiah some chances and invest in positions where we really need investment.

We are linked with a lot of strikers when we need mostly wide forwards and a whole new back line for start of the next season.

Surely if striker rumors are true this means either Laca or Auba is off?

This is bullshit. It shows that most of these loose links we get are horse crap.

We’d only sign him if we sold one of our strikers, and that isn’t even in the pipeline at the moment.

Whenever we get mentioned with other teams along with words like ‘in contact’ , ‘monitoring’, ‘interested in’ I don’t buy it

Moussa would be a good Lacazette replacement. Would probz mean another loan for eddie tho, if we keep Auba
