Okay Mudryk pretty early for that.
Pace can be neutralised but it’s very hard to contain acceleration. PL defenders do not want to be having to speed up and slow down when jockeying a winger. You think his pace will neutralised by pl defenders?
Yeah first few steps makes all the difference. His acceleration from standstill is out of this worldPace can be neutralised but it’s very hard to contain acceleration. PL defenders do not want to be having to speed up and slow down when jockeying a winger.
No because he is fitThis kid probably is great he has Robben speed but we just don’t need a winger as bad as we need a CM. Who is a better back up ESR or Mo?
I will take Viera as a back up over MoNo because he is fit
Mo for that role. This kid probably is great he has Robben speed but we just don’t need a winger as bad as we need a CM. Who is a better back up ESR or Mo?
Mo for that role.
ESR is a big moments player. But doesn’t have the work rate or ball winning to control the tempo of the game like Elneny can (even though Elneny plays it too safe usually)
He has been injury prone since he was born. He will break in weeks againPs ESR says he is fit again by the way the medical people are not weeks or months from clearing him to play
Well put. Players who are quick over long distances but take a while to get going are fairly stoppable if you're organised enough and manage the spaces. Acceleration however is deadly. Saka doesn't have game-breaking speed but his ability to accelerate once he's created an opening is frightening. Martinelli is similar - not quite as skilled a dribbler but has both the pace and acceleration to get away from people once the opening has been created. Arteta clearly clocks this with Mudryk, and while I was initially not as impressed as everyone else is by Mudryk, I've actually slowly come to favour this move (not as much as I'd like us to sign Leao but Leao plays for the champions in Italy, that's a hard move to stick).Pace can be neutralised but it’s very hard to contain acceleration. PL defenders do not want to be having to speed up and slow down when jockeying a winger.
Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesús, honestly, signed because of Arteta previous work as assistant in City. Wouldn't be that easy without that previous relationship between them. Who has signed him? Lokonga, Tomiyasu, Vieira and Ramsdale? Not hard deals in my opinion. He seems to get deals done ok in the summer when the BBQs are fired up. Maybe he needs a different approach in the winter months /when dealing with clubs from colder climates

The perfect description of Alexis Sánchez, he wasn't top speed player but god that acceleration in short spaces destroyed players for fun.Pace can be neutralised but it’s very hard to contain acceleration. PL defenders do not want to be having to speed up and slow down when jockeying a winger.
