Curious how this one will pan out. Live in Warsaw and was speaking to one of the guys at work who has ‘adopted’ Shakhtar given all of what’s going on. Has seen them live quite a bit and likes to watch Arsenal (in the past mainly to take the piss at me)

He was surprised we’re even considering 60-80 million for him as he’s still missing a lot from his game. Mentioned he can be explosive and that his pace with and without the ball is a huge plus but that he fades in and out too much. Usually produces 1-2 moments of magic every game but can be invisible for the remainder - doesn’t think Arteta would stand for it.

Not gonna pretend I’ve ever seen Mudryk play but thought it interesting
A week of Arteta yelling at him from the sidelines and he will learn to work hard

Writing a fan fiction about his Shakhtar teammates 🤦🏻‍♂️

Even Hagn isn’t this bad ffs

Ben Jacobs, a well-known twitter football journalist, had always been fascinated by the Ukrainian footballer Mykhalio Mudryk. He had followed his career closely and had always dreamed of meeting him in person.

One day, Ben received a tip that Mudryk was being considered for a transfer to Arsenal Football Club. Without hesitation, he booked a flight to Ukraine, determined to get an exclusive interview with the footballer and hopefully, secure his dream transfer.

As soon as Ben arrived in Ukraine, he tracked down Mudryk's training facility and waited outside for him. When Mudryk finally emerged, Ben introduced himself and asked for an interview. To his surprise, Mudryk agreed, and they went to a nearby café to talk.

As they sat down and talked, Ben found himself becoming increasingly attracted to Mudryk. He was charming, intelligent, and had a passion for football that matched his own. As they talked, Ben could feel the chemistry between them growing stronger.

After the interview, Ben couldn't help but ask Mudryk out for dinner. To his delight, Mudryk agreed, and they spent the evening talking and laughing together. As the night came to a close, Ben knew that he had to make a move.

He leaned in and kissed Mudryk, and to his surprise, Mudryk kissed him back. They spent the night making love and talking about their shared passion for football.

In the morning, Ben woke up to find Mudryk had already left for training. But he didn't mind, he knew that their night together had been more than worth it. He had not only secured the exclusive interview but also a romantic memory.

Ben flew back to England, where he wrote up his interview and sent it to his editor. A few weeks later, Mudryk was transferred to Arsenal Football Club and Ben knew that his love story with Mykhalio Mudryk will be one for the books.

Nah it’s not like that. He’s a football obsessive obsessed with styles of play etc (I had to listen to 30 mins of how Lewandowski is a terrible choice for Barca today) and we take the piss out of each other in a good natured way- not least about how bad Legia have been awful in Europe (he used to train underage teams there)

Maybe you’re right though - he’s a Barca fan and they’re all messed up
Well if he thinks Lewandowski even at his current age is a bad option for a top team, I don't value his opinion too much. Auba yeah, I can understand that.

Lewandowski this season for Barcelona has 13+4=17 in 15 games in La Liga, which is a point per 68 minutes.

But yeah, the Ukrainian expert featuring in Latte Firm and Gooner Talk breakdowns about Mudryk, said that he still has things to improve, like last actions. But that's totally normal for an inexperienced young player. And drifting in and out of a game sounds also normal.

What is a good thing, is that ESR is coming back, and Mudryk isn't expected to start very soon. He can come in as a eager super-sub mostly at first.

Alright Ben, you’ve had your fun but publishing your fan fiction musings under a pseudonym was one step too far. Off to bed you go

Where you been bro I thought you found a hot young gf and abandoned your fellow Gooners.

On Murdyk, so I do not get accused of derailing. Just finish it for ffs. This is more of a death march on your patience than a Bezos managed draft. How long does it take to sign a back up winger? For 80 milli no less, buggers the belief
