Didn't Flamini have the same trajectory? Started as full-back for us and then gradually switched to midfield. With how good he been as LB I doubt that unfortunately

I can't stress enough how important it is to bring through academy talent with the quality to not just fill a squad place but become a viable regular starter.IF both continue to develop at this rate, it makes the damaged season worth it in the long run. Wonder how long it will be before we see Dowman, because he is special. Ironically, given our injuries, if Chido hadn't (quite understandably) chased the riches of Manchester, he'd be on the bench for us, and likely be getting minutes....
I wonder if Arteta will give Dowman the Nwaneri at 15 treatment before the season is out?
I believe Skelly can be just as dynamic as Toure was. For his frame, Skelly is as powerful as any teenager in football. I don't think it was strength that made Toure dangerous, it was his agility for his size, technique and running power when he got into his stride.I was comparing him to today's Saka tbf, not a perfect comparison but a lot closer than Dembélé.
Yaya comparison is a big stretch, his style is unique and basically unduplicable for a mobile running type as he was one of the strongest players to ever play the game.
Nah his grandma was there watching and he said after the match there was no way he could have his grandma thinking he played soft. That's a top class family. His mom is a really impressive person as well.Only thing I wish he had done differently after being subbed off was as soon as a Tottenham player touched him he should have gone down like a tonne of bricks. Would have been peak 11/10 ****housery.
Ahh, understood. What a guy.Nah his grandma was there watching and he said after the match there was no way he could have his grandma thinking he played soft. That's a top class family. His mom is a really impressive person as well.
Imagine claiming to be a fan of the club but sh*tting on the players for no reason even after a win.
Mikel Merino, may I present to you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take up a vocational course - perhaps plumbing or welding. I would say go join the Saudi league, but the Saudis don't take too kindly to pork chops. God bless you in your future endeavours, and I know you have a big fan in @BigPoppaPump who will support you.

Rico Lewis is a good example of how young players fluctuate in performance. So is Kobbie Mainoo and Wharton.Ridiculously good player. This is where advantages can be attained. Should be promoted ahead of Calafiori, Zinchenko at left back. And ahead of Jorginho in midfield.
Much better than Rico Lewis at Man City
