I’ve never seen referees influence a title win even with their incompetence. If we’re talking about cups then yeah, referees can definitely have a big influence on those.

This forum is largely prejudiced or at the very least ignorant.

I don’t think you guys get to rally over MLS stuff, black players have been getting mocked by the British media for years it didn’t start with only Saka or specific kids this forum likes.

Whatever necessity it was that Arteta needed to get rid of them for his ideal squad (Laca in particular was washed by the end), the strikers/forwards have been underwhelming apart from Jesus first 3 months in the shirt. And I even like Havertz but he's Giroud with a quicker motor and slightly worse(!) finishing.

Uncle @Macho is basically saying that black players have been targeted like this in the media for years now and it’s kind of sad that people are only noticing it when it happens to a Hale End kid.

It shouldn’t require it happening close to home to realise it’s wrong and it’s a bit cheeky to make it into an anti-arsenal thing because that’s not what it is in this case.

It’s further amplified by the fact that Arsenal fans themselves have engaged in such behaviour when the team was underperforming or the player in question wasn’t an academy graduate.
