Would let Saka date his daughter

IF Arteta actually tried to sell him then he's gone down several notches in my estimation. I just can't believe this to be true. The guy threw him in CM in a title run-in where every game was effectively a title decider. Also trusted him to start the CL SF + Final. I just can't believe Mikel would then go ahead and be like "yeah let's see what we can get for this guy".
Why is that surprising? Arteta comes off as a pretty machiavellian character. I have said this before, he usually throws in the hale end talent to save him when his philosophy has failed lol. People are happy we won the league, but I was still disappointed we didn't win the league cup or the FA cup. Also if the team recruited better in the attack, we could have won the UCL at least once in the last 2 seasons. It's not guaranteed that we get to the finals again, see how long it took to get there from last time, 20 years!! Gyokeres, Havertz, Madueke are simply not good enough to win those type of competitions. Martinelli is a pretty good squad option and usually plays well in the UCL. Havertz is better than gyokeres and Madueke, but he is still not close to a RVP, Sanchez, Henry, Anelka, Bergkamp type of talent or impact.

Those quotes are so questionable and shady from Arteta. This seems shocking considering the end Skelly had to last season and how much of a fan favourite he is.

A lot happening at Arsenal is good but why we signing Chelsea rejects and offering them one of our best kids in a while is weird.

Remember he was quite happy to let Saliba go to when he was coming through.

Nothing Wrong With Me
I’ve been ignoring this thread, I just don’t see why we would sell him. Loan? Maybe but a sale would concern me. It’s the same with Zubi, we need depth. If a player asks to leave that’s different.

My takeaway from this whole debacle;

-MLS might've said something. To a point where a story leaked about him being offered to Yanited and Chelski. His celebration seemed awfully apologetic. Maybe he's a little frustrated at the arrival of Bruno and went about it the wrong way, perhaps unknowingly.
-Uncle Mikel is a little miffed at all the speculation. His comments are definitely keeping MLS on his toes. The fact he called him an emotional player pretty much confirms MLS has said something silly.

Bottom line, MLS just needs to get his head down and work. He's such a talented player and can be the future of our midfield.
Absolutely bang on.

MLS is unbelievable, and he can be the heart of our midfielder for a decade but it's not time yet. He is 19 ffs, and Arteta just trusted him in a CL final over a fully fit Zubi.

He needs to keep his down and ignore whatever his agents and anyone else is saying to him.

Mrs Bergkamp

Double Dusted
MLS might be our most complete midfielder. He has a little bit of Rice, Bruno and Zubi in his game. My Utd friend was delighted when he thought they were signing him which says everything about his quality.
In about 3 years time, all our other midfielders will be 30 or close to. MLS is for now and the next 10 years plus.

This came from the players side, I don't think we'd be adverse to his sale if a suitable offer came in, but equally that applies to all but a few members of the squad.

Saliba, Rice and Saka are the only ones basically no money could buy. Possibly Raya and Ødegaard too but less convinced.

No way we should be selling this guy, nor Zubimendi. Ridiculous if we do.

I hear we're after Hinshelwood now. What the hell is going on?
£50m thrown at Hinshelwood when we have MLS here?
