Who subtitled that video? Wenger clearly said "Nwaneri is very exciting" but they wrote "one year is very exciting". Doesn't even make sense.

I don't live in 'other European countries ', though, so I don't care about them. I'm directing my ire at England fans and I just wish them the worstWhile I agree, if you think some of the other European countries are much better then you are also mistaken. Having lived in Spain I was genuinely shocked with their attitude towards ethnic minorities. They would openly say things that would get you arrested here.
Things are bad here still though. After Saka missed his penalty against Italy some bloke turned to me and said ‘f*cking black c*nt’ and sort of looked at me as if I would agree. I told him what I thought of him and he tried to punch me before getting thrown out. Have to say I was ashamed of our fans after that day. Some great fans I know follow England all over and are brilliant fans, but there is definitely a large amount of bellends
Would be nice if he gets at least a cameo in one of the games.
Get the debut out of the way then hopefully things will settle down a little.
I don't think racist abuse can ever roll off your back, but appreciate the sentimentThe racist abuse will roll off his back. Kid's unreal and very down to earth it seems.
Great guy, really hope he locks down that lb slot for you guys.
Why? They're cretins and lower life forms. Their opinion shouldn't matter at all.I don't think racist abuse can ever roll off your back, but appreciate the sentiment
Ok, we'll just suck it up then. Sticks and stones etc. Thanks for your inputWhy? They're cretins and lower life forms. Their opinion shouldn't matter at all.
I would never try and downplay the situation here and apologies if it came across that way, not my intention at all!I don't live in 'other European countries ', though, so I don't care about them. I'm directing my ire at England fans and I just wish them the worst
Shoutout to Rasmi Haaland for giving us a clear comparison, now we await the reactions…
Didn’t say anything about race. But we were told that MLS can’t chat to Haaland because he’s never won anything, same should apply to Rasmus. Regardless of the PR job post match, he was trying to dunk on CR7.I'm not sure about the clear comparison though, since Hojlund said to Danish outlet DR: "Now I don't have to overdo it, but Cristiano is everything to me. I fell in love with football because of Cristiano, I became a Manchester United fan because of Cristiano, I started self-training because of Cristiano, I started doing push-ups and sit-ups every day before I went to bed, because of Cristiano, because I wanted to be Cristiano," says Rasmus Højlund. He added: "My father introduced me when I was not so young. He introduced me to Cristiano, and wanted me to idolise him because he has a good mentality. That's the reason he achieved so much in his career and for me is the best player ever. He had the talent but it's how hard he worked."
That's a little different to MLS doing the Haaland celebration, which had a lot to do with Haaland's crazy moments at the Etihad and no so much as an idolization
Don't get me wrong, I think black players get criticized much more than white players (look at Rashford vs. Grealish for instance, imagine Rashford going clubbing and getting wasted doing nothing after a 100m transfer and Grealish giving free meals to children), but the situation here is not a clear comparison imo.
That being said, the MLS criticism is very unfair. It's hard to grasp why the media or fans didn't go in harder on Haaland after that Etihad performance. ****ing Norwegian ugly android.

Lmao. Rashford played for United. Sterling played for City, Liverpool and Chelsea and that didn't stop them from getting abuse. Everything does let revolve round Arsenal. Sometimes it's just good old racism.I think *most* of it is driven by the fact that he plays for Arsenal. We are one of the most hated teams in England (easily). There is obviously a racial element to it as well.
I'm convinced there wouldn't be as much of a negative reaction if MLS played for say an Ipswich Town.

Disagree.Okay, I should have replaced Arsenal with 'big club' - I said obviously racism plays a huge part but I don't think it would be this intense if MLS played for say an Ipswich.
Disagree.
If it was Phil Foden, he wouldn't have gotten this level of abuse. Grealish is an alcoholic, yet the media call him "a good lad"
