Would let Saka date his daughter

Player:Saka
He’s Wilshere with more game understand, on another planet defensively and superior athleticism.
I'll still give Wilshere the edge on the ball. He was amazing in tight spaces, he would have been really helpful in breaking down all these mid and low block teams, if we still had a young Wilshere that didn't get all those injuries. Imagine a healthy and in form 21 year old Wilshere in this team.

Yeah, Wilshere was probably a more talented passer and had more “magic”.

Wilshere was a bit clueless though and had far less match understanding than MLS imo.

Yea Skelly has a very high football IQ like Saka plus the same elite mentality. I don't think Jack had more magic, Skelly has just not been given as much leeway to show what he can really do. Arteta is less of a romantic than Wenger.

Cala cannot defend though. Dembele would eat him alive. Partey has given us a real headache.
bit harsh on calafiori imo. first season here and a lot of small injuries. if he can stay fit i believe he can still succeed at the club. he’s still young and he will improve.

sure, it’s possible that dembele puts cala in a spliff but that’s not a given at all for me. if ballon d’or level dembele shows up he has the ability to put most left backs in a spliff but if poor decision making and chaotic version dembele shows up cala can keep him quiet. i’m sure of that

League is very weak
His biggest quality seems to be mentality and character, which is saying a lot when his talent is top class.

You can’t buy another MLS, without going OTT I think he’s ticking most boxes.

Nah, little to do with injuries, more concentration. Cala has that Zinchenko carelessness about him. Oblivious to the danger.

This lad should be a strong contender for PFA Young Player Of The Year award.

Being an Arsenal player, he obvs won't get it lol, but must be nominated, surely.

Yeah, and I figured this would be the case quite early on. Nwaneri pops off the page because he can score spectacular goals and is a clean finisher. Lewis-Skelly does everything to such a dominant standard that eventually you come away thinking "wow this guy is a genius".

The fact is, they're both potential megastars. And there's more of them too..

Ethan’s situation is much more difficult to have a sustained impact in as a debutant forward, he’s playing against better athletes and has less space and time to work with. He’s still shown glimpses that firmly put his ceiling at world class, the kind of glimpses we’ll start to expect from MLS in attacking areas once the the shock of his high floor wears off.

I think MLS' rise has to be considered the most meteoric of all of our academy players and I'm including the likes of Fabregas, Wilshere, and Cole in this. It's just staggering.

His story is one for the ages and probably the best I've seen at Arsenal. He makes his debut as a relatively underhyped youngster and ends up in a post-match altercation against the champions with the best striker in the world asking him point back who the **** he was. 6 months later, he's benched the club's big money summer signing, scores on his debut for England, scores in the reverse match against the champions and copies the celebration of the guy who he clashed with, and then turns up against the European champions and puts in a top 3 performance across both legs.

You couldn't have written a better script.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
