Thinks The West Ham Game Ended 1-1
Been a bit dodgy, but I don't care still think he's a top player ..to adapt as fast as he had to a new position (a defensive one too which is harder for a younger player) and be a key player for us is amazing.

Love him!
He is becoming complacent..needs some competition and Calarigatoni isn't one to provide it.

@Trilly just opened X and this is the first thing I saw 🤣🤣🤣😭😭🤣🤣

I’m dead ffs

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Lippy is right, he’s been moving crazy this pre-season but up and downs are to be expected. People calling him a world class LB need to slow down because we won’t know who MLS really is until the end of this season, we’ve seen this before.

I have faith in him though.

Just play the kid in midfield, enough with this LB nonsense. Play Timber or calafiori there.

Worse than Zinchenko as LB. Calafiori maybe the clear upgrade on both, but that mf is injured all the time.

Fully deserved even tho he won't win it but the 6 months raise he had was incredible. Nobody knew who he was apart from few people year ago we were all focusing on Ethan

I Know Who You Are
hold on a second…we keep talking about how we need an AM, LW etc (which we do) but it seems like Zinchenko was a major part of us playing good football…

He’s a very good footballer, he just can’t defend, I don’t know why we never tried a 4231 with him in midfield next to Rice.
It’s the same position he played in possession anyway (LCDM) but without the worry of firstly getting back to left back when we lose the ball and secondly getting skinned when he got there.
The other thing I think people forget is how good pre injury Gabriel Jesus was at everything apart from shooting, him and Zinchenko made us so much better, we look like Everton without them.

Angry & Miserable
Wenger definitely would have played Zinchenko in midfield. Wenger appreciated proper footballers with an elite first touch.

Obviously, Zinchenko can go **** himself with regards to his political views.

Doesn’t Rate Any Of Our Attackers
Zinchenko quite literally is a midfielder, he just got put at LB by Guardiola. Same with MLS. I think long-term there’s a worry that positional ambiguity hurts his career. The danger is AMN-ification.

He's a bit of a liability defensively and i don't rate him all that much, but it's weird how Arteta went SO cold on Zinchenko.

He was like 4th choice LB last season (and that's with Tomiyasu injured), even Tierney, the guy he initially replaced was brought back in.

I guess Mik just see that the negatives with playing Zinchenko there now outweigh the positives.

Arsenal Quotes

My first ever football memory was Charlie George's double winning goal in 71. After that game; I just became an Arsenal fan.
