Don't think it matters. He's been a good player for us, never spectacular.

Don't think we'll miss him at his current level. Good to get some money for him hopefully

Stupid move from us if true he can fill in CB and LB role, and with Tierney still out we need some depth at LB.

Although not Ideal, it would make sense for monreal, he's in the twilight of his career, Tierney coming back from Injury, Kola would be ahead of him, and he probably would have gone to a lower league team if he left it another season, wish him all the best, he's been a good servant for the club.

It is possible that Nacho wants to start regularly and go back home. He has been a brilliant signing and excellent servant. I'd rather keep him, but we can cope with him moving on.

Why so serieuse?
Even if we're selling him I'd like to let him go on the last day. We'll have to tolerate Kolasinac for just two more games after the break before Tierney is back. We were never going to go into the season with. 3 lbs and Monreal is the logical one to go seeing as Kola can be useful as a winger if we want to close out games.

On the positive, it could mean that KT is doing very well, should be playing soon and that they don't expect he will have any serious setbacks.

Selling Monreal now would be real stupid. He was good in the 1st 2 games we already sold Koscielny dont want to sell another good defender.Tierney will resume full training in oct so still 2 months till he is completely back.2 months can make or break our season. We already have niles at rb who is a fine player but playing out of position dont want the same thing at lb.

Mental selling Nacho before January. All it takes is a slight setback in Tierney's return and we could be using Kola at LB until around November time.
Infact it's mental selling him at all, Kola is the one we should be looking at shifting, an injury further along in the season to Tierney and we're back to the problem of playing a back four with Kola in it or changing formations because our backup LB can't play LB

We have one of the smallest squads as it is. Mustafi and Elneny should go but we need to keep everyone else until at least January. This is a big season and not one to approach needing a player in an essential position should injury strike.

Prefer Monreal to move in January but I do think there are some legs to this and is part of why Emery has not released his 5 captains for the season.
