I think the big issue is betting in the same league/Country where they will obviously have friends playing for other teams that could lead to dodgy shenanigans.

Whether gambling companies should be able to sponsor football teams is another debate.

The more I watch Newcastle the more I like them tbh, they play some really exciting stuff.

Glad to have an interesting team near the top of the league, you never know if they're gonna batter a top club 4-1 or lose to some bottom feeder team. Reminds me of the Asprilla days when their striker could slam hatties past Barcelona on a good day.

These bans aren’t stiff enough.

Competitive integrity is the most fundamental thing to the concept of sport and anything that threatens that concept should be dealt with in the harshest fashion possible.

Toney should have been banned for life for betting against his own teams.
