We've probably let him go because of his low work rate. If he sorts that out, he can be a very good player.

Unlikely it's anything to do with footballing ability. The guy tucked away 16 goals for Crewe last season. The problem is where he plays. He's not defensively minded. He's a #10 or hybrid CF through and through. Good player, strong technical to boot. There's just a lot of players in his way and he's 21 this year. Has to be playing regularly at this point in time.

He'll likely move to the championship next season have a solid season or two then move up if he lives up to his potential.

He's one of those players that I think could be either a decent PL player or Yaya Toure depending on how badly he wants it.

I'd keep an eye on him for the future .

**** me, Bendtner was a tough one to get rid of. His career is all but done I'd say, we'll see his true level when he signs for his next club, and I bet they will be worlds away from Arsenal level.
