In the past now. Fans still give him a bit of stick but it's nothing like it used to. Not saying he'll come back here of course (why the **** would he?) but saying he hates us is a bit hyperbolic.

He padded his stats somewhat but then you see top players fluffing pens, it's a skill in itself. With the likes of Gerrard and Lampard, you almost felt it was in before they hit it.

Yeah he might be one of the most consistent performers ever in the Prem. Decent guy as well tbf, managed to seem somewhat likeable in the showers of ****s that is Chelsea.

Remember seeing that video of Redknapp defending Lampard to some West Ham fans in the 90's, predicting he would go on to big things.

I wouldn't know, I'm not a West Ham fan. I hope he does go back, he is after all from Romford.
