Yousif Arsenal

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
But loan is bad given that he'll return with a year left. Looks like we can't even recoup 25M in that case.
We lost long time ago we got scammed by Lille. the best possible solution he have excellent loan so we can get at least 25M from him with his wages nobody will buy him.

I'm assuming we'll be paying a fairly sizeable chunk of his wages still.

I don't see us making much money back even if he has a successful spell at Nice with only 1 year on his contract next summer.

He seems a good lad though so hopefully he does well and gets his career back on track if this move gets confirmed.

He will see out his contract at Arsenal and bounce from loan to loan maintaining his Arsenal wage. Then he will move on a free and use the signing on fee to make up for his decrease in wages. Unless he scores 25 goals and gets a move to PSG or Newcastle. There is no chance we recoup anything.

He would be a very valuable player to at least half the premier League teams FFS

Guarantees you goals and assists especially on the counter.

Hope the Nice move goes through.

Given his struggle with the language and Arteta's complete reluctance to use him, anybody in the prem taking a gamble on him was completely unrealistic despite some of you being on your knees for a fee.

He's just too muddy now, just have to loan him out until his contract is done.

Going to Nice? Good luck to him. Don’t like what’s happened to him here.

A phenomenal con job by Raul though. Brown envelopes galore I guess. Pepe was never a 70M guy.

Don`t Nice have a bit of money? Brought in some pretty high profile players the last few eyars, think they could cover at least most of his wages

Hope there is a nice loan fee. Following a good season in France we could recoup a decent transfer sum.

Was secretly hoping for a Newcastle or something to come in with a straight £30m offer to end the saga.

Nah, he’ll still be on £140k a week next summer when he has a year left. Best case scenario is we get a token fee to save face ~£5m.

Mr.Gaspar could well be handing out more terminations to the likes of Runarsson, Cedric, Mari (if Monza go down) and Pepe who’ll all be in the final year of their deals next summer.
