All this over-analysing everything and loads of diagrams is just embarrassing.
Every time a player comes on as a sub, and he's given 10 diagrams to study and remember, just before he goes onto the pitch. It's just a big show, and it's trying to make the scope who produces this worthless crap feel wanted.

Believe it or not, this is the status of today’s football. Do you expect the millions and millions are invested into a football club and all the players do is to loosely played together without any analysis made? The margin between clubs are smaller and smaller, and the only way to get better than others is to become more detailed in what you do.
Have you heard of the grid system that managers would only allow certain amount of players occupying each vertical corridor? Or in which zones, players have to stick to their position, and once you are in certain scenario, you are allowed to have your freedom? (As famously explained by Henry on sky about pep’s tactics)
Go study a FIFA coaching course.
