Todd Boehly’s summer target 😭

Can’t see it happening as that would be ridiculous. How do you fit in Mudryk, Osimhen and Nkunku?

When have such trivial considerations mattered to Boehly?

Gala building a great squad tbh

What they have cooking?
They've pulled off some pretty good signings (for Süper Lig standards) this season. Torreira for 6M, Sérgio Oliveira for 3M, Icardi on loan, Mertens on a free, now looks like Zaniolo on loan. They've won their last 12 in the league as well.

Osimhen
Mudryk Nkunku ?
Enzo ?
Quality with star players in there but it definitely lacks balance.
RW would be Sterling. That's a ****ing dangerous team, and balance wouldn't be an issue if they found another CM like Rice or Caicedo. Hope they don't get Osimhen.

Zaniolo is a feckin idiot. Should have made the move to Bournemouth, going to the Turkish League is basically a career ending move.

So Bernardo Silva, Rodri, Cancelo, going out. Foden is rumoured on the oust as well.

Pep going crazy it seems.

Don't understand why Barcelona would go for Rodri when they have Frenkie as a long term successor for Busquets. Wonder if they plan to sell him and offer Rodri more modest wages to rebalance their books.

Cancelo is puzzling as well, surely they don't expect that BTEC Zinchencko to fill his boots adequately? It's not a proper transfer window if Pep doesn't attempt to sign a 50m+ fullback, though. Not that many class leftbacks available either. Would they go for Hernandez or Davies? They can have Tierney for 50m.

I would've loved Silva here, but the moment has passed I reckon. Can easily slot in the starting XI of every club seriously competing for the CL, in my opinion.

Rodri is overrated and lacks serious football IQ, guy is a donut so he would fit right in at new age Barcelona.

Ehh, not really. A lot of past-it stars play in the Turkish league, but that's not what the league is in its entirety. It's not another Qatari or Saudi league. Anelka played for Fenerbahçe before returning to PL with Bolton, Drogba played for Galatasaray and went back to Chelsea, Pepe played for Beşiktaş and later went on to play for Porto for another four years, Ryan Babel resurrected his Dutch national team career playing in Turkey, etc. Not to mention players like Kim Min-Jae who played in Turkey and then got their move to one of the bigger sides in Europe.

The passion among Turkish football fans can be a healing factor for some players who have lost their motivation and/or focus.

Aubameyang is in talks with LAFC. Think he’ll be great there, on and off the pitch.
