Yeah tbh that does sound quite unreasonable from Balogun
I see it differently. If Everton were willing to sign him but after some renegotiation after the medical, why are they letting the world know there's an issue?

Something that isn't really discussed in football is how medical confidentiality gets breached all the time. This can impact Balogun's future career prospects and therefore earning potential. He could sue them if he felt like it.

Or they identified something, wanted to double check, did that and decided it was all fine. What’s the point of a medical if the medical team can’t raise any issues?

Balogun obviously didn’t want to go there that much if a small hiccup was enough to put him off.

Maybe he went to Liverpool expecting it to be just like Monaco or London and got a nasty surprise

And it made him a multiple millionaire only because he is good at sport. Try to wake up every morning at 4:00, work two jobs and can't even save enough to travel outside of your own city. Those spoiled professional sporters who complains to be treated as slaves just need to stfu.

We are all just guessing here but I think in Balogun's point of view, not only did they flag up an injury issue which ultimately they accepted wasn't an issue after all but while he was there waiting they were ringing up Zirkzee and Tammy Abraham and only after those turned them down they came back to him like 'ok, seems we have no choice but to take this guy after all'.

They were well within their rights to do that but from his point of view that would rightly make you feel unwanted. It's important for footballers to feel wanted. If this was a top club he might have swallowed his pride but when it is Everton, at best a side move from Monaco, I am not surprised he told them to **** off.

Thought he wanted to stay in London though?

Btw cheeky bid for Estevao in Jan?
He did, apparently. Only wanted London clubs, also had to be Premier league after he rejected a move to West Ham.
Amazing how things change now he’s had his money out the club.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
