So they did not want to pay €30m for Eddie but paying €30m for a 31 year old striker plus given him 3+1 year contact. Assume he does not perform well, there is no way they will be able to shift him and they will have waisted almost €40m on him ...
It's a good signing, but never at that price.
He'll have to be an instant smash hit and then maintain it for the whole 3 years of his contract for it to have been worth it.
But he is an interesting and potentially good player for West Ham's level

Westham also signing Guido Rodriguez for free and it's free transfer the guy made for PL too pretty physical and really have good experience. the only downside from these tow signings for westham is they won't get good return will it's time to sell them or they might lose them for free because they at their early 30's
