Solanke is a decent signing for Sp**s. Good for them.

I wouldn't want him here though, definitely not at that price, and I genuinely believe that he had a hot year last season and I don't foresee him scoring 19 league goals again.

Some players finally hit their stride and it feels as though they're settling into who they're supposed to be.

Some players hit a stride that feels, looks and often turns out to be out of the norm, and they return to their previous level.

Solanke feels like one of those.

Sometimes you've got to let a guy get 2 hot seasons under his belt and possibly pay more for a surer thing, instead of paying up after the first hot season only to realise he's not the one.

BTW: Only 2 of his 19 goals were againt Top 4 teams (1 home and 1 away to Villa) and the only other team he scored against who finished in the Top 6 was Newcastle (3 goals total). 5 goals out of 19 against Top 6 defences.

Athletic saying Chelsea will sign a striker and a winger. Osimhen most likely the striker

They’ll definitely figure something out for Osimhen with Napoli begging for Lukaku.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
