I'm afraid we gonna sign 6 and move rice to LCM that something I'm not fan

The problem is Rice isn’t good enough on the ball to be a single pivot with two attacking eights in a team that wants to dominate.
Even a terrorist like Southgate knows you have to pair him with someone who can dictate play from deep, Phillips and now Trent.
Which leaves you with either a double pivot or Rice as an eight, personally I really enjoyed that 442 with Rice/Jorginho and Ødegaard and Kai as two false nines with the high press.
I’d have liked to have seen us go big on a younger Jorginho/Partey option and play like that more.

Why is Rattcliff Boy trying to play hardball with transfer fees? Everyone knows he won't go below his release clause. And if he genuinely doesn't want to come to Arsenal he isn't going to the waterfall stadium either.
United have a reputation of getting fleeced/overpaying for transfer fees so SJR is trying to change that perception.

From a club perspective Its 100% the correct thing to do.

PSR has implications and the market may take a down turn.

Opening bids can be increased.

If true the bids made so far imo are pretty smart.

Also If you trigger a release clause in Spain I think it has to be in one sum to the federation as we did with TP.

It's really a last resort tactic.
Far better to negotiate a fee with staggered payments.

Why would a Saudi club with virtually unlimited funds argue about less than £2m 🤔.

It makes little sense.

Unless the new transfer policy is get the players to agree by giving inflated wages but haggle hard over the fee?

If so it doesn't really bode well for clubs wanting to sell at inflated fees to Saudi.
It's not a money problem. They're looking to see if they can sign Alisson or Ederson instead.

I really like Arsenal. But you, do you like Arsenal? Or just Arsenal with Trophies?
