Why would a Saudi club with virtually unlimited funds argue about less than £2m 🤔.

It makes little sense.

Unless the new transfer policy is get the players to agree by giving inflated wages but haggle hard over the fee?

If so it doesn't really bode well for clubs wanting to sell at inflated fees to Saudi.
He is still a very good keeper, he goes there he probably is the best in the league, yet they won't pay more then 3 mil. But are willing to pay 30,40 for other absolute trash players, makes you think a?

He's not seen as a big enough name to merit splashing the cash on.

Fs, this is the type of a player that we need, sometimes inconsistent, but he certainly has those "stand up from your seat" moments of brilliance.

Would be a huge upgrade to Vieira and ESR for the AM position and more than a decent rotation for Ode.

We should go all in for him given that his price probably doesn't go beyond 60M.

Al Nassr are gonna end up signing Ederson/Alisson and van Dijk.

Meanwhile, one of KdB and Salah could join them.

If they had access to time machine, even if they could only go back a few years, their first XI would go toe-to-toe with anyone in the world.

I suspect Salah will end up at Al-Ittihad in Jeddah. The city's an hour from Cairo by air, has large Egyptian expat community not to mention a culture similar to Egypt as a whole meaning his transition to things there will be seamless.

Yeah, they were the ones that went all in for him last year too.
You'd expect they return. Not sure whether he replaces Benzema or joins him.

Arsenal Quotes

One of the things I discovered in Japan was from watching sumo wrestling. At the end you can never tell who has won the fight, and who has lost, because they do not show their emotion because it could embarrass the loser. It is unbelievable. That is why I try to teach my team politeness. It is only here in England that everybody pokes their tongue out when they win.
