Non-Arsenal Transfers: Summer 2025

Yousif Arsenal

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
We'll see also big the gap between Cherki and Wirtz because of Cherki end up doing well then man city really play it smart.

Wirtz is not a £130 million player, but it's a sign of intent from Liverpool to show that they are here to stay. It's vanity buy if we are honest with ourselves. I'm not a hater and I am jealous, but paying a PL record fee for a player who has suffered TWO ACLs is nuts. It could very well end in tears. Let's see who they buy to replace Nunez. If it's Isak then we are ****£d.

Massive Saudi bid incoming for Darwin lol it’s a shame Jesus isn’t fit, this would have been the perfect summer as Al Hilal seem very desperate for a 9.

PSG signing Kvara + Neves for around similar money shows that it's an overpay and this is certainly a huge risk (as is any 100m+ signing). However, I think it's one worth taking for a club with the funds and the need (which Liverpool falls under). I wouldn't consider it a purely vanity purchase although they'll be well aware that this is a statement signing. They need to revamp their attack with potential departures of Darwin and Diaz.

He's the best attacker/playmaker on the market, and has proven his fitness for the past two seasons. They've got a player who can take the mantle from Salah, as the talismanic attacking figure, once he calls it quits which would have required a major signing regardless. Was hoping Bayern would still be able to land him as I didn't want him coming to the PL to play for a rival, but he's completed German football so it makes sense for him to test himself abroad.

Accepted this was happening weeks ago so not that mad anymore.
Best thing to hope for was Liverpool getting rinsed in the process, and they have been.

They've been very aggressive in doing their business early. Certainly great for them to have their players ready to go for preseason but there is glaring gap at CB they haven't addressed.
Will be interesting to see how they do selling players. They're probably banking on massive sales to Saudi, but convincing players to sign for Saudi hasn't exactly worked very well in recent weeks.

Liverpool. well done. Strengthened after winning.

We had an opportunity to do the same and instead took two windows off.

Show ambition and offer 110m for Isak.

So they end up paying 150M. Incredible negotiations from Leverkusen.

Expectations will be high on him this is insane few the biggest in English football he better give Liverpool 25 goals 20 assists
The guy worth at most 70m. He's not that fast. I still don't understand Liverpool obsession to buy him

They will actually get this done and announce Wirtz before this joke of a club announces Zubimendi 🤡🤣
