I’m wondering if Barca have some sort of plan to play a false 9 or something. Otherwise this doesn’t make much sense.

I was thinking this, Lewandowski is 37 in August, I could see Raphina playing as the false 9 with Yamal and Williams either side.

Barca could use this 60M on someone decent to play in their defense they could do with someone good to partner Cubarsi or maybe spend it on actual CF not sure Raphinha as CF is good the guy was best LW in world last season.

His athleticism is insane. The actual technical side of his defending is good as well, just looks less so in comparison because of who he’s next to.

He’s not “easily” replaceable.

Konate is a top defender and had a better season than Saliba. Glad Real are waking up to his talent.
