What I don’t get is why does every player and his mother want to go there. Especially someone like Wirtz. Why not choose to go abroad to an even better league and still make really good money and indirectly not ****ing your old team and the rest of the league over in the process. It’s something I find very strange myself.
Germans love playing for Bayern, you're basically guaranteed titles and positive press as well. Media treats you like royalty as long as you do reasonably well it's basically an extension of the national team. About ****ing your old team over Wirtz came to Leverkusen from his boyhood club Cologne which is basically moving from Tottenham to Arsenal. And they got 200k Euros for him lol

Also tbf financially the only place you could get better wages than in Munich is in Saudi Arabia, they're at least on par with everyone else. Musiala's new salary got him close to Mbappe ffs.

Yeah Bayern pay top money, their wage bill easily rivals the biggest PL clubs etc.

Fairly easy to understand why Germans want to go there IMO, it'd be like if Liverpool were 4x the size of any other team in the PL on top of getting their ever-positive media coverage, every single English player would want to go there as well.

Sancho should go to like West Ham or somewhere with runners who he can be the playmaker-winger he is. With Palmer at Chelsea he isn’t needed in this role.

Yea pretty much except the media glazing is on another level even compared to Liverpool. It's actually mental if you try to watch a Bundesliga match of theirs and forget all you know about German football for a moment and pay attention to commentators, you'd honestly think it's some Bayern fan TV commentating going on.

Frimpong to Liverpool is very close. Could be announced soon.

At least another RB who cant defend.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Yeah Frimpong really can't defend at all I feel he'll get absolutely destroyed in PL specially Liverpool won't ever play with wingbacks but he very good offensively.

35M€ release clause also not much. Low risk signing it was always gonna be difficult to replace guy like TAA

The strange thing about Bayern is that all the other German clubs hate them, but seem almost complicit in helping them. Turn down bids from abroad and Bayern just wait and get them for free. Also kind of odd that it seems all german players want to play for Bayern.

Clubs can't do anything when the players force them to accept Bayern Munich bids. It's either they cash in now or lose them for free when contract run out

But there are so many examples of clubs in germany turning down substantial bids only to lose the player to Bayern for nothing a year later. Its maddening
Yes it's simply because the players refuse to leave to others clubs kinda similar to what Madrid did with TAA and Mbappe

How do they always do it without competition. 35m euros is nothing.

Very intrigued to see Frimpong playing right back in this league to be honest. Got better pace than Trent but certainly not got the power or stature of him. Won't get any protection from Salah either. At least they have Bradley to fall back on. My guess is they might end up using him to cover Salah at times. I suppose it's a good squad option, an attacking right back when chasing a game, a defensive winger if looking to protect a lead.

Likely agreement with player long time ago. Not many clubs looking for RB too. I think Kerkez they'll sign him pretty quick too
Yes they will. I think they always seem to sign players who are great pickups but no one else is interested.

When other teams come into play (Caicedo, Lavia, Zubimendi) they lose 😂

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
