I don't watch Eredivisie football at all and have only seen him feature in the odd Dutch International team game. I wasn't impressed, but I know he is rated a high potential.

Our National team's lack of quality forwards in recent years makes every new kid the next best thing though.

Its true btw according to psv trainer Faber, Bergwijn is in London to talk with Sp**s.

Do I rate him? Not good enough for the top of the premier league. He’s not setting the league here on fire and thats not so hard. International he’s never done anything great. All in all he’ll be a mediocre buy for Sp**s. Wouldn’t want him at Arsenal and that says enough.

I would compare him to Promes but even that isn’t right, Promes has great timing to run in behind and finish, Bergwijn wants every ball in his feet. About the same ceiling I would say. Would look good in a team that is already performing well, will not make Sp**s better.

I did last season, thought he would step up a level, but he's been quite poor for them this season and nothing special in the national team either. Might still go up a level, but not an immediate improvement for Spuds as stands.
