This is a big transfer considering both clubs are fighting for relegation. Burnley need to spend that RC money is they have to stand a chance even though wood hasn't been on fire this season.

Yes and no, its still a poverty transfer but if he gets 5 goals at important times ie 1-0 then yes its big.

And thats just it; Wood being deemed a success is bagging 5 goals for Newcastle instead of Burnley at 25mil..

This transfer is a very interesting one due to the relegation dynamic, he could literally score 1 goal which gets them 3 points more than Burnley and the 25mil is then a shrewd bit of business, which is again possibly nuts because if Newcastle do stay up they are probably looking to dump Wood in 6months time, suitors; Burnley!

I rate Digne so that's a good signing by Villa. Not sure what happened over there at Everton between him and Rafa.

“We’ve got Wood 💪🏻

How has someone got away with writing that ffs

No one can really say anything. That being said 25M for a 30 year old bum is ridiculous. Saudi’s making their mark tho, Wood could keep them up.

Strange how a keeper like Olsen who is top class every time he plays for our National Team is struggling to find a good club to be 1st choice for. I guess he's one of those players who raise their game massively when they play for their country.

Norwich are hopeless, that transfer should kill Burnley...looks like there is only 1 team/man left, that can relegate Newcastle...

Worried about Brentford tbh. Awful run of form and got 4 smashed past them by Southampton.

Frank traditionally struggles second halves of the season so let’s see how they do.

Still think Burnley may survive. Cornet looks great so keep him fit and Dycheball might prevail.

Sorry but Classenal would never post such filth from its account.

Best part for me...is Dean Smith cutting short his family holiday, just so he can go and get relegated with Norwich

Yeah, can never really write of Burnley and Dyche in a relegation fight.
