Parades didn't live up to his potential but above average player who like to tackle.
Paredes is not a tackler, is more of a positional midfielder, with fantastic technique and passing range, He is quality and the Argentina national team revolves around his ability to create balance, something we desperately need here at Arsenal.

So going by your words on Paredes (maybe our stats king @Sebastes can confirm this) and PSG wanting to get rid, and a similar situation over at Gladbach with Denis Zakaria whom they want to get rid of and who's apparently available between 5 and 10m € - going for these two would be something like a no brainer in terms of profiles - a passer in Paredes and a defensive minded mid in Zakaria - as well as smart investment for little money.

In Zakaria you get a cheap but solid deputy for Partey who also can play next to him to allow Partey more offensive freedom as well as have a more solid double pivot for certain situations/matches, as well as a possible upgrade for Xhaka who also might leave in the summer. Furthermore, at 27 and 25 they add some much needed experience to the young squad while neither being oldies on their last legs and contracts.

If Paredes fits the profile and is actually any good, I'd have nothing against these two very smart buys and down the line have a CM quartet of Paredes, Partey, Zakaria, Lokonga plus giving Academy players a look in here and there. In an ideal world you'd still add a very rounded, more modern and especially dynamic all action CM on top of that.

He's a talent. We were linked with him back when Wenger was here. That takes a club out of the Nketiah running though.

Is it true Håland have a release clause for 68 mil in 2022? Can't be true right? I wonder what he will sell for when he sells, surely he will be the most expensive transfer of all time right? Hard to beat Neymar though.

Villa already have a set midfield, yet are adding to it...the **** are we doing?

Kinda Expecting Juve to be annoying with us over Melo, but hand Bentancur to Gerrard for barely anything/no replacement needed
