but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Competing for what? If you want to win serious trophies like a league title and a CL then he needs to leave, Simeone's tactics and Atletico's limiting spending power can only get him so far. If he's ambitious and wants to be the best he can be and have the best career he can he should move while he still has the chance. It doesn't necessarily need to be Barca but he needs to move to a serious club.

Disagree, Barca seem to be heading for a decline if they don't quickly start transitioning, Real are a mess and Atletico are competing this year. He's won a Europa, has been to two champions league finals (I think?) and is part of a squad which has won la liga (even if he hasn't personally). But for a bit of Ronaldo magic, he'd be gearing up for another cl run.

Greizmann is the highest earner and star at a competing Atletico team, who should go from strength to strength. His options would be Barca or PSG.

Also disagree with Atletico not being serious. They have retained Greizmann, Sual and Oblak despite huge offers and have bought in Lemar and Costa recently. A couple more additions and this is a VERY serious club.

If it was Mane in exchange for Bale and a bundle of cash it wouldnt be to bad.
Not sure what Bale would do in the PL at this point, with his injury problems. I don't even think he wants a return to England tbh.

Agent leaking that he wants to go to Bayern today. Very sceptical on that happening though.

Could see that happening tbh. Bayern need are star name to replace Ribery and Robben, they're not completely confident in Coman, Gnabry and Davies, yet, who are also all still U23 and still lack the output of peak Robbery, too.

Hazard, Mané, Salah, Neymar, Mbappé, Dembélé are beyond their reach.
Coutinho is not a winger, and neither is Griezmann, who might both be on the move.

Pépé could be an option, but he's another youngster. Could see both him and Bale in Munich, if they can strike a bargain deal for the latter, with either Gnabry already leaving permanently or Davies going out on loan for one or even two seasons.

A cheap Bale could give Bayern a big name and if fit the output from the wings they are severely lacking currently, while Real could get rid of his wages and claim for a starting spot. Madrid have also been linked to Mané and the Hazard deal is probably gonna go through.

Hoeness also announced Bayern would go out and spend big - rumours quote a transfer investment around 200m.

Bale to Munich seems to make sense for both parties. Bale can be 'the' star again and Bayern get starpower. I'm really curious to see what Bayern will do in the summer, hope they won't completely ruin their competitors though.

Think they will mostly go for foreign talent again. They have already raided other teams for Gnabry, Goretzka, Pavard.

Hernandez 80m
Pavard 35m
Bale 60m
Pepe 60m

With the likes of Robbery and Boateng going out, that would solve a lot of their problems.

Bale is basically the Welsh Alexis right now, too injury-prone and on insane wages, can't see Bayern (or any other club) being interested in him to be honest.

Was the perfect winger for us but 80M is insane. Since when did Bayern spend this much on a player? Tbf they need pepe more than us, great signing.

They are in dire need of a rebuild. Are said to be eager to invest 200m + this year.

I would've liked Pepe as well as he's the type of player who finally combines trickery, pace and goal output whilst being rather young, showing topclass performances already - that's what I expect of a winger-signing, anything else is just putting another uncertainty in front of Reiss, Amaechi and Saka.

Besides, CB and LB, maybe RB have to come first at all costs.

They might find a solution like the James one. Loan him for a season or two and then add a comparably small option to buy. That would at least get his wages of Real's books for a while.

Speaking of James: I wouldn't buy him for 42m but rather save that money, go 433, spend half of it on a young CM and put the rest on top of whatever other transfer business they want to do. Hasn't really set the world on fire during his Bayern stint.
