not a stupid question. Luiz has been our best defender this season and is reportedly a great influence in the dressing room. Also have hardly watched Chelsea all season, so a genuine question.
Luiz been as good as Thiago Silva. Both are winners and leaders no surprise both been best defenders at thier clubs despite being 34 years old

Wouldn’t it have been nice to have two winners and leaders in the same side? Especially considering they’ve played together before for many years and would be great mentors for the youngsters like Saliba and Gabriel.
I think having Luiz and Thiago Silva in same side is asking too much specially when you have Gabriel Holding Mari. Now we need to move on from Luiz and build defense with Gab Saliba Tierney and new RB.
