Was just about to say how Parma used to have some great players, financials hit them hard over the years.

Fiorentina used to be another club with great players, Lazio have had a bit of a resurgence of late but remember when they went nuts with money around 2000, built such a strong squad.

Roma another, still somewhat compete but used to be on another level.

That Parma team was half genuinely world class players and half bang average. A bit like Wengerball after 2009 for a few years. Always just a few players short.

We shouldn't be signing a striker or Soumare.

Patson Daka is a signing you make, even if you sell him later. Martinelli, Daka, Balogun is a strike force for many years.

Soumare is a talent as well, lets not get it twisted. He would be a worthy addition to our midfield.

Daka isn't a signing you make at all. He's the complete opposite of striker we need at the club. Pure pace and running in behind.

Soumare is a talent, but not a talent we need right now. Lokonga is probably on par and we need a starting CM.
