You got to remember we got rid of Auba in January with one last minute suitor, you can see on All or Nothing how late in the window it all went down.

It is what it is, not fussed if they receive a fee, he needed to go at the time and did, cant be looking on like some desperate ex.

Agreed, Auba was such a fan favourite, I think for most fans would be kinda disappointing.

Not seen any of the series. Does it allude to what the 'disciplinary issues' were much ?

Just because he’s Spanish innit? Bet you’ve never seen him.

Well there's that, but it's also exactly the same profile in terms of career trajectory. A career going nowhere before having one good season at the age of 27. He might be a very late bloomer, or he might just be a one hit wonder.

Reckon that profile is needed at United because the rest of their squad peaked early. Sancho, Rashford, Martial etc.

Not particularly, obvious lateness is one but the rest isnt told even though Arteta claims to have a dossier of instances.

Personally I agree with the decision as its more about a culture change at the club, Auba was a short term loss (remainder of 21/22 season) but hopefully this will pay off in the long term in how the club operates and standards it holds.
