I will never be fan because I know there’s will be so many crucial he will lack composure. He could outrun Mansfield, but against a speedy defender he offers nothing
Took his goal well but I don’t think there’s anything he can do to convince me he’s a good investment.
His second half shot went out for a throw. A throw.
Think a lot of people are pissed because they wanted this money spent on a LW.I’m a bit surprised there’s so much negativity around this signing tbh. He’s doing exactly what we signed him to do.
50m is on the high end but let’s not pretend it’s a monster fee in this day and age.

Think Ethan could have hit those numbers had he been willing to deputize on the RW + AM minutes. The money could have been used to sign a proper LW.
Noni been fine and done his job.
**** offBetter than a goalkick. Allows for an OOP pressing opportunity. Mikel was probably pleased with that lol.

Agreed. Newcastle spent 55M on Elanga, Utd 60 on Mbuemo, Chelsea 50 on Gittens, Sp**s 120 combined on Kudos and Simons, Fulham 40 on Kevin and Everton 40M on Dibling. Madueke is said to be relatively low wages too. Hasn`t set the world alight but think he has done alright.I’m a bit surprised there’s so much negativity around this signing tbh. I think the main argument isn’t to use 50M on a LW. It was to use that 50M to fund a new starting LW.Agreed. Remember when briefed Ornstein and co that Noni would get games on the LW regularly? That was great cope.I think the main argument isn’t to use 50M on a LW. It was to use that 50M to fund a new starting LW.
I agree with both sides. We should have brought a solution to our LW rather than sign Madueke. We should have put money down for Semenyo or waited until Jan even for his release clause.
However, I have been a bit surprised at how bad people say he is sometimes when he actually gives positive performances for the team somewhat regularly. We know he doesn’t have a crazy IQ, but considering how stale things are he at least gives something different.
Tldr; shouldn’t have signed him but he’s been a good tactical weapon and depth.
Ah yes that makes it worse. We actually were trying to address LW with the signing.Remember when briefed Ornstein and co that Noni would get games on the LW regularly? That was great cope.

Very idiotic and also very cheap in a position we’ve learned you can’t cheap out in. He’s at least recognised the need to spend big on a specialist LW.
