He was excellent in the games he's played for England so far, even got MOTM in one. Relax, Noni is a great footballer.

I get the Noni hate, he's definitely not the player I thought we needed last year, mainly because of what it did to Nwaneri.

It seems a bit wrong to focus just on his weaknesses not his strengths though - what he brings to the team. Obviously he's not Saka, not as good as Saka. But then few in world football are (when he's on form). His end product and decision making are frustrating, but he has electric pace and actually pretty good technique in certain actions. I think he's added danger to the team and he may have another level in him still. You need these pacy transition players for certain game states.

I think he deserves another season to see if he can add consistency and improve. He's an adequate Saka backup anyway
