He can dribble and he direct that alone make him 2nd best winger at club behind Bukayo lol the issue his decision making as bad as Martinelli also he left footed so that another problem he better as RW
What makes you say and think that?
To me it seems we have needed a left footer on the left hand side for a while now to hug the touch line. Crosses made from the left side will meet the strikers right foot and Ødegaard or Sakas left feet as theyre coming inside.
With the way we are set up we need more width, theres times both sides of our attack are the width of the penalty box, and with MLS coming inside and Rice on the left covering all the ground they are not the ones to do that. Ultimately it would also hopefully mean more overlapping runs for Saka on our white from our fullback which White does but not Timber yet.

Even if we did get Eze Id in some games prefer Eze replacing Rice and leaving Madueke on the left. Or maybe Saka would be just as effective on the left and Madueka on the right but I dont think Arteta would be willing to swap things up that much.

He's not a savior and will frustrate the hell out of us, but can he be worse than Martinelli, that's the question from me. Surely isolated against a fullback its going to be easier for him to go outside on his natual left foot and get something in the box.

Anything is better than that constipated dribbling style im seeing from Gabby right now. I feel sorry for him actually.

Imagine how desperate our forum is. From a meltdown not wanting Noni to he should start at LW to save us. I am in that camp as well btw.
What is worse we have also settled for playing **** football.
I grew up watching Wengers most naive beautiful football era.
We are the polar opposite stylistically. Still not winning anything. I know what era I prefer.

Yea I actually like Arteta. Sacking him to me is more dangerous than letting him work more. I want him to succeed. However I must admit. Our football is dreadful. If it was dreadful and we win the big trophies , than fine, but playing so ugly and still not winning anything and being mocked in the end of seasons...don't know how much more I can handle it.

The more i see Downman(yes, he's just 15), the less this signing makes sense to me. Nwaneri and Dowman should be Saka backups.
52m would've gone a long way in getting Eze and/or pushing for Rodrygo.
I hope he makes us all eat our words.

Madueke always been good not elite level but good. The final action in his game need to be worked on he can be very good winger if he sort this out
Of course. For a player who significantly underperformed his xg , it's clear there is an issue there , but I can be a good thing at the same time. At least he ends up in these goalscoring or assisting situations. Hopefully with the help of the right coaching staff, players around him and the player himself will reach new heights for us. The raw potential is there for sure.

Potential without good decision making is just frustrating. Hence why Chelsea fans were glad to see the back of him as they watched him make the wrong decisions for 2 years. His assist stats are worse than Martinelli despite being better dribbler. That says he could be even dumber than Martinelli

Where the **** this this guy at???

What is this club doing???
His season only just ended with those idiotic "World Cup" games. He needs a long summer break or we won’t get anything out of him next season.

There never has been a more clear opening in the side than the current LW position. Noni must be chomping at the bit to have a go - it's a very low bar to clear, could easily see him force himself into starter conversations if he does well vs Villareal and Bilbao.

Trying to wear a headband to be like Ronaldinho then end up being likened to Madueke 🤣 I found it a bit funny.

Super massive stretch though as Raphinha’s ball striking, off the ball movement and decision making are all top tier on the LW.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
