Capable of great moments. But two monumental examples of why he doesn't "feel" like a typical Arteta signing. Im skeptical these things can be coached out.

If Chelsea believed these things can be coached they would never sell him. He’s very similar to Martinelli in that he can give you great moments, but will always let you down in moments you really need him

At least Martinelli has a goal in him. Noni has little end product.

So you're saying that if Tod Boely made a decision, it must be right? Interesting take

Dont mind him in the squad at all, Saka is clearly first choice on the right. Just a curious one as not an Arteta-style player. Maybe we do need to mix it up.

He becomes a very important player for us. He has all the talent. Martinelli only has speed.

Enough Chelsea rejects please.

You would have thought we'd learn after Gallas.

Benayoun
Cech
Luiz
Sterling
Havertz (not worth what we paid by a long shot).

I'm just surprised we didnt buy Hazard when he left Madrid.

Benayoun is the reason we got CL that season

And Havertz is 1 of the best strikers in the PL and way cheaper than Isaak/Etitike/Nunez and the same as Sesko/Woltemarde.

Him and Merino are the funniest players in the squad. They can both be so brilliant and so **** at the same time. With Noni, it's just the lack of numbers that hurt his stock primarily.

Just score goals and cross the ball to the feet or head of your team mate. Surely it cant be that hard to do.

It's unlikely that we will coach the inconsistencies out of him but in fairness, he does create chances so he's a nice option to have to change games. Useful to have his pace on the bench too.

I'm a but surprised there isn't more positivity surrounding this guy. For me every time he's played, he's looked a massive threat. Only 23 as well.
I don't understand it either. Like yeah few games he's been average but the whole squad been average at few games as well.

A winger that keeps threatening is good pressure on their defense, something we never do. All clubs litteraly dig themselves up and have the easiest time defending, so having Noni is not bad at all.

Martinelli is obviously a very good finisher.

Martinelli wastes a ton of chances, just last game he missed a sitter missing an open goal by hitting a post from a few yards out. I fell down from my couch laughing while watching the replays. Calling him obviously very good is very generous of you.

Apart from some good moments, the biggest benefit of his signing has been the ability to give Saka a lot of breathers without there being a chasm of drop off in quality or having to significantly alter our style of play.

Suppose his end product isn’t as polished as it could be, but he’s only 23.

If we signed him from Dortmund or someone rather than Chelsea the discussions would be a bit different.

Exactly what I feel. I can see the defensive issues etc but otherwise he has shown glimpses of his talent and the talent is scary levels. Last few games, it felt to me like whenever he got the ball, the opposition LW was worried. He is adding stuff to his game as well. The corner he took was an incredible delivery for example.
I thought he was lot more of a threat than Nwaneri for example in the game ( who had a good game too) but we want Nwaneri to be playing much more and are so negative about Noni.

He's like our version of Doku, but more athletic. Also think he has more potential.

He provides something none of our other forwards can, and has looked dangerous most of the games he played in. His corner deliveries show that he definitely has great technique.

I think at some point it might click and his goal numbers will go up. Very happy with him.

Yeah, he’s absolutely lightening and very good 1v1. If you’ve got that in your locker as a winger you’ve got a good chance of being a top player.

Arsenal Quotes

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
