• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Jokes aside I’ve always found it ridiculous how people refuse to recognise that an injury that prevents you from playing elite level sport doesn’t necessarily stop you from living regular life.

Always seems to be a certain demographic as well that gets it the worst…*sol_campbell.vid*

For some reason our deals with chels are always fast, so expect this to be done before the next week

I wouldn't be against this if the price is reasonable. Saka needs decent backup to manage his game time properly.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
when you got Saka as your winger you won't expect the club to sign a top quality RW Madueke is decent and he still young with room to improve but ain't sure he will come here to sit on bench Mbeumo already rejected us because of that.

we should try for Kudus imo.

Can we stop the Chelsea reject nonesense? Weren't both KDB and Salah also Chelsea reject? Just to be clear, I'm not saying Madeuke is great, but not doing business with Chelsea is silly when the price is right. They also have tons of young players there
We haven’t bought one single player Chelsea wanted to keep. They took Ashley Cole from us. He’s a Chelsea reject because they have a new rw coming in and he’s surplus

Brother have we ever done a deal with Chelsea that is either on a right affordable price or for a talent like KDB/Salah?

Yeah we have been linked with Noni, Kudus and Bakayako.
Noni is from London has moved from Crystal Palace to Sp**s and then ditched Sp**s to go abroad.
Returned to Chelsea and is now linked with Arsenal.
They say he is better this year after getting benched.
Noni cost will be between Bakayako and Kudus.

Noni is homegrown which is a plus.
All three are inconsistent.

If he is coming as a rotation to Saka then at right price he is not bad option.

I like him as a player, he's a rotation option level though.

If we've brought in our main guys and he's available for a reasonable fee, sure. But we've got bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Isn't Nwaneri the RW backup? How does he get the minutes if we sign another guy.
This is a good question. Maybe he gets minutes in the CAM role as well as on the wing...?

Before Saka got injured last season he was coming on for Ødegaard if I recall

Like I said previously in the thread i think he's quite a brave player. Doesn't matter if he loses the ball 10 times he'll still try to take his man on the next time.

I like his directness and the chaos he causes too.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
