And Semenyo shot with both foot. Early to mid last season he starts at RW, but later often starts at LW, due Evanilson injury so Ouattara moves to CF, or rotation with Ouattara where Tavernier/Brooks starts at LW. Semenyo is really two footed two sided. Arguably best choice for Arsenal 3rd forward signing, as he is good, EPL proven but should be cheap enough to allow elite CF + LW.
Bournemouth aren't selling Semenyo for less than £70m. You're not signing a backup for that price, assuming he would even want to be a backup to Saka. If you sign Semenyo, he IS the LW.

I don’t know what’s the issue here. I think it makes sense.

You need saka’s backup.
He’s considered homegrown.
He’s Chelsea reject, which means he fits arsenal type of signing.

I think the downside is his attitude. Pochettino has criticised him many times about his commitment in the training.

I never said he wasn't, just that he plays on the left. The poster was saying he prefers him over Madueke, but we wouldn't be signing Madueke to play LW...
He doesnt play on the left. He plays on the left AND on the right in the exact same way because he is both footed. 45 games at LW. 45 games at RW.

Arteta isn't paying £70m for a bench player while Saka plays every minute. If Semenyo signed, most of his minutes would be LW unless Saka got injured again.

Again, I never said he wasnt two-footed, but if we were in for Madueke it would be somewhat cheaper than Semenyo but he wouldn't be playing LW, would he?

Monitor FC again. We need the Anti-Monitor ….
We seem to be linked with RWs, surely we aren’t satisfied with Martinelli/Trossard?

Still Pining for Wenger
No more Chelsea rubbish please. All the signings from that club combined don't equal the loss of Ashkey Cole.

Tbh taking all of the Chelsea rejects has been like we lost Ashley Cole twice.

I'd swear a director at the club had shares over there the way we helped the out of a financial hole with Havertz.

No, Jacob Steinberg (also Tier 1 for Chelsea) reported the same

Okay well I've done my research on the shedend and stats and on this basis and I'll give my plus points:

1. Always ready to go 1 v 1, better dribbler than most of our players and has a good change of direction with his dribbling
2. Chelsea fans think he looks as good on the left
3. Very strong defensive side to his game. There wouldn't be problems with none negotiables.
4. People wanted Neto, most Chelsea fans reckon he's better than Neto
5. Only Nwaneri and MLS are younger in our squad but essentially Saka's age
6. Adds pace to the side
7. Probably good value deal to be made
8. Potential to improve
9. HOME GROWN

Against

1. Poor decision making, but not worse than Martinelli.
2. Floor raising rather than ceiling raising.

You are missing out the being left out of the squad for disciplinary reasons negative. He isn't focused.

Arsenal Quotes

People say why I did lie on the floor after the goal, they think I was tired. But I think I was a lot cleverer than people thought.

Charlie George reveals it was all a time-wasting plan after the double winning goal
