Lazio has the perfect formation for Tavares to succeed. 3-5-2 is what he needs to suit his game. He will be great at being a pure winger with less responsibility on being able to defend in his own box.
Even during All or Nothing, Arteta was always seen instructing and reminding Tavares for his defensive positioning and importance of retreating back. We have seen that Tavares was pretty decent on his overlapping runs getting forward. It was the defensive side of the game which Arteta demanded
I think he may do well at Lazio unless those ultras in the stadium take him up for cleaners with their chants
