He had a good performance today. We know he's arguably the weakest defender in the first team squad but when he's on point, he really does help to connect the play more and I feel he was important to the LHS dynamics today when he played. Despite the team outgrowing him currently, there's still some value to be had. PL is gonna be a different bag though.

Doubt the team has "outgrown" him, he's a specific type of profile and can be very useful in certain games and game states.

A-M likes to complain about everyone, personally I see Zinchenko getting minutes this year unless Calafiori/Timber show they can progress play as well as him from that position while offering better defensive contribution (which is entirely possible but certainly not guaranteed). And even then they may be deployed together, for e.g. if Gabriel picks up a suspension we may see Calafiori at LCB and Zinny at LB.

you now wrong i wasn't too not really fallen into the hype i watched Liverpool game where he played and he was awful defensively today he proven again how useless he can be when we under pressure

Wow. Too much hate towards Zinny. A bit overboard.

First half he played well. Second half he made a couple of mistakes.

I thought our CBs were equally indecisive at times and made similar mistakes in this match.

We already have a upgrade for Zinny. In the meantime I am still behind him. We need him to play well when he is out there. He doesn’t need fan pressure.

No hate but he just not learning he lose his head too often he refusing to stay calm when pressure on he put our defense in lot of trouble too
