See any manager with competence not genius, competence tactically would of moved a technical player who has played 8, and is poor as FB at 8; when he has played it often in his career, and our central midfield is missing technique and passing. It's mostly about having an actual defender at left back.

Rice at six is also better than Rice at 8.

Plus, and I can't stress this enough, thst would mean Jorginho would be back on the bench.
